On the Way to Work and On the Way Home

this is sick doe! I'm really feeling the janitor / still life language to the image at the top of this post. the pic has a moment of truth to it, or a coming together of forms that couldn't be more random. it's great how this simple pallette of fields and forms interact, and hey, the color works pretty darn good too! it's fun to connect with the objects through which we find ourselves... just think, you were "on your way to work," but this scene was already "at work," you just had to show up on time. I also like how it birngs up my own ideas about custodial issues, the act of ascension or descenion, and the stillness of myself as I arrive in to it.
